Indications and Usage:
For the temporary relief of burning and irritation due to dryness of the eye.
Directions:
Shake well before using.
Dosage:
Instill 1 or 2 drops in the affected eye(s) as needed or As directed by the Physician.
Pharmacology:
Optimoist Complete has a Biphasic mechanism in which the product first binds to the damaged hydrophobic areas of epithelial cells to add volume to the tear film. Then the tear is restricted by forming a protective gel matrix that provides long-lasting protection, prolonged, retention of the demulcents on the ocular surface provides sustained lubrication to the eyes. It also protects the ocular from further damage while the surface epithelial cells undergo repair and renewal.
Adverse Effects:
Eye drops rarely causes serious side effects or an allergic reaction. Minor burning, stinging or irritation mat temporarily occur. All these are transient in nature.
STOP USE AND ASK YOUR DOCTOR if you experience any of the following: eye pain – changes in vision continued redness or irritation of the eye – condition worsens or persists for more than 72 hours.
Contraindications: Hypersensitivity to any of the ingredients.
Warning and Precautions:
- If irritation, pain, redness or changes in vision occurs or if that patients condition worsens, treatment should be discontinued immediately and get in touch with your physician.
- Remove contact lens before using this eye drop.
- To avoid contamination do not touch the tip of the container to any ocular surface or otherwise.
- Replace cap immediately after using.
- Keep the medicine out of reach of children.
Safety Advice:
- Alcohol: No interaction found/established.
- Pregnancy: Consult your doctor, Information regarding the use of Optimoist Complete Ophthalmic Solution during pregnancy is not available.
- Breast feeding: Consult your doctor, Information regarding the use of Optimoist Complete Ophthalmic Solution during breastfeeding is not available.
- Driving Optimoist Complete solution may cause blurring of your vision for a short time just after its use. Do not drive until your vision is clear.
How Supplied: Optimoist Complete eye drops are available in 10 ml plastic bottle.
Use the solution within one month after opening the container.
Storage:
Store at a temperature not exceeding 25°C. Protect from light and moisture. Do not freeze.
